8ris is my version and adaptation of the classic game. The game starts with falling Shapes. There are 7 Shapes, each Shape is comprised of 4 Blocks. The Shapes are: Square, L, J, S, Z, T and Line. When a horizontal line is completed with adjacent blocks, the line is removed from the game board. Shapes continue to fall, until/unless the Shapes pile up and reach the top of the game board, so no more Shapes can fall, which ends the game. The objective of the game is to score as high as possible. Each line removed scores 1 point, and a new level is awarded after each 20 points. Higher levels Shapes fall faster. Game Gestures: 1. Swipe left or right to move the falling Shape sideways 2. Tap the screen to rotate the Shape clockwise (4 taps: 12 to 3, 3 to 6, 6 to 9 and 9 back to 12). 3. Swipe down to let the Shape fall quickly into the bottom layers of blocks. Game Over: When the next Shape can no longer fall down, the game is over, but a new game starts immediately. If the ended game score was the best, it will replace existing best score. Game Restart: When you touch the Restart button (right most) a menu of Restart options appear: Start New Game, Restart from Best Score, Restart from Stored Score and Restart after Storing Score. You can restart any game from your preferred score/level. - Beat Your Best Score (which is stored in the game) - Share Your GameBoard (on social media, ..) - Restart the Game Anytime (if it looks hopeless and you do not want to wait for GameOver!). You can then restart from new, from best score or your preferred game stored score. Totally flexible. Explore, Enjoy & Share Your 8ris!
