CardiacApp is a companion app to HMicro’s disposable Life Signal Patch. This app wirelessly collects data from the Life Signal Patch worn on a person’s body, and provides viewing and analysis of that person’s vital signs information. Key features are: The Life Signal Patch worn on a person’s chest wirelessly transmits the physiological data to an iPad/iPhone over a Wi-Fi network in which both the iPad/iPhone and the Life Signal Patch are client devices.  The CardiacApp displays the streaming ECG and respiration waveforms of the person, along with the heart rate and respiration rate values. The user interface of the app facilitates locating and pairing with the Life Signal Patch wirelessly and securely, and provides the ability to customize the network connectivity parameters of the patch. The user can record the streaming information over a period, and later play it back.The live heart rate and respiration rate trends are also displayed. The user is informed of heart rate and respiration rate variations with alerts when they exceed or fall below user set thresholds. The live heart rate and respiration rate trends are also displayed.
