This screen employs vibrant, striking and contrasting verse images because a visually impaired user will recognise an image associated with their favourite verses as opposed to text. 3 – When the user selects one of these verses they are taken to a detailed screen of the verse where the verse is displayed in full (large font) and the user is offered more options regarding what to do with the verse in focus. These options include: • Sharing to files, photos and a range of communication and social media outlets. • Navigating quickly back to the home screen again. • Having the verse spoken to the user via an audible output from the device (particularly useful to those with visual impairments). 4 - The app also publishes a different Daily bible verse and when accessing this the user can access the same options mentioned above. The daily verse is programmed to deliver a notification to the user’s device every day.
