AquaStar’s Pipeline Connect app is designed to simplify the pool ownership experience. With advanced and proprietary technology, this app provides pool owners the opportunity to automate and control their pool pump right from a smart device. A key feature is that the app can control the pump's 4 schedules, and 4 speeds, which come factory pre-set at the following RPMs: Speed 1: 900 RPM Speed 2: 1500 RPM Speed 3: 2500 RPM Speed 4: 2900 RPM No two pools are quite the same, so it's important to have the ability to custom program the best possible settings for your specific circulation system. The 4 speeds referenced above can be modified at any time in the customize pool pump settings (just don’t forget to hit “Save” in the top right corner of the screen when you make any updates). Once the speeds are selected, these stages can then be scheduled for various times of day based on desired performance for the pump. This is a feature that can even help pool owners to save money! Electricity is typically less expensive in the evening or overnight. With this in mind, pool owners have the ability to use the Pipeline Connect app to set a custom schedule that will decrease the pump’s speed during peak times of the day, providing the potential to reduce energy costs. The AquaStar Pipeline Connect app allows pool owners to control anything that appears on the pool pump’s display right from the palm of their hands. For example, the pump also has a unique freeze protection feature that can be accessed from the Pipeline Connect app. Pool owners have the ability to adjust both the number of hours and speed for this freeze protect feature using their smart device.
