Parent/Caregiver of an active student at ANI (Auckland Normal Intermediate School) The ANI Connect App is designed for Parents to be across school news, events, important alerts and notices pertaining to the school, their Child’s classroom or activities they’ve enlisted for e.g. Soccer, Rugby etc. Users request login/password from school (these are pre-setup on the website based of an active list of parents/caregivers at the school that term). News feed News categories shown are those associated with the user account within app and reflect the sports activities and classroom the student is assigned to. User can filter news posts by category. When a post is clicked it loads the post detail from the website post within the app. Post detail may include copy, images, web links, videos and pdf file links. User can set alert (Important category is mandatory). When a new post is added to the website - the app receives a push notification based on the alert categories set in the app as well as the notification settings set on the users phone. Absentee The absentee form captures information from the user on the student that will be missing school and for what period. The submitted form emails the school office with the details of the absence. Events School calendar for the year loaded from the school website Event detail screens shows the name of the event, date, description and a link to add the event to a calendar.
