The intuitive DRA2+ app guides teachers through the DRA2 administration steps with ease. •Diagnose each student’s reading proficiency based on rate, accuracy, and comprehension •Determine each student’s DRA2 (Independent) or Guided reading levels •Based on the assessment, teachers are given student-specific instructional recommendations •Improve consistency of administration among teachers •Save time and expense photocopying Blackline Masters •All DRA2 and EDL2 components in one app •View student data and classroom dashboard instantly •Student, Teacher, School, and District Reports available online Each book-specific continuum is broken into sections, allowing teachers to score at point of use. During the Record of Oral Reading, Retelling, and the Progress Monitoring Assessment students are recorded allowing teachers to review and make edits as well as share the recordings at conferences. The app keeps track of time and errors during the oral reading and alerts the teacher when a text is too difficult. Reading Engagement and Comprehension sections capture each student’s responses and corresponding teacher scores. When the assessment is complete, the final continuum is displayed with scores populated from selections made during the assessment. The DRA2 Focus For Instruction provides teaching points for classroom instruction based on the continuum scores. The class home page gives teacher an at a glance overview of students’ performance against district benchmarks. The DRA2+ app informs teachers when to administer Word Analysis to students. The suggested Word Analysis range of tasks to administer are provided, as well as easy scoring and tracking of each task administered.
