This app is designed for use with the Smart Car Robotics science kit by Thames & Kosmos. Use this app to control and program the models you build with Smart Car Robotics! *** Not compatible with iOS 9 and up *** With this app and the Smart Car Robotics science kit, you can build and drive eight model vehicles through virtual reality cityscapes. You can even program your models easily with the app: The four electric motors in the models are individually controlled by the program, so you can script, save, and run programmed movements. Features: - Remote Control Steering: Drive your models with your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. - Virtual Cities: Spread the AR (Augmented Reality) code cards out on the floor, point your device’s camera at them, and discover how virtual buildings spring up on the screen. - Draw & Drive: With this mode, you can draw out a course for your vehicles to drive along automatically! Experiment with this basic principle behind future driverless vehicles! - Programming: Command the four motors individually to move forward or backward, or to stop, in one-second increments. Save the sequence of steps in programs up to three minutes long. You can retrieve the stored scripts and then run them to automatically control your models. - Experiment with the precision of the guidance system and the power level of the motors. - Caution: Police! Pay attention to the traffic lights on the AR buildings! Do not drive through red lights, or you will hear a police siren!
