This is the official app for Kenwood House which allows you to explore the objects and paintings on displayed at this beautiful English Heritage site. The Audio Described app is very simple to use. Audio commentaries are accessed by simply swiping the touch screen left to right, and tapping on the screen to activate the audio. Each commentary has a voice prompt, telling the visitor which commentary they are about to listen to. Kenwood House, located in Hampstead, has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and this app has been developed in line with this to offer visitors a comprehensive tour of the house and its many glorious paintings. This app presents Kenwood through 10 audio described stops and has been specially developed with a visually impaired audience, for a visually impaired audience. The tour is led by a narrator, and includes short insights from a number of different specialists to enhance your visit to the house or give you a taste of what you can discover before or after your visit.
