Access thousands of POIs across GB and France including wild camping spots, motorhome friendly pubs and water taps. Membership to www.WildCamping.co.uk is required but a free demo is available to test out the app and see a sample of POIs * To start, tap "W" in the top menu bar and then "Get Activation Code". Safari will open the Wild Camping website where you will need to log in. (Create a new user name and password if you don`t already have one) Scroll down to the Activation code which will be a four digit number. Return to the app, tap "Activate this device", enter your user name and activation code. Tap "Ok". A message will notify you that the device is now activated. Tap "Ok". The POI file will download and install. Sometimes there may be a warning saying the POIs did not install properly, you may try again or continue. It just means the file may have become corrupted during download but the app can handle that in most cases. Move the map to an area that interests you (within GB or France) and tap the 2nd icon along Select the type of POI you are interested in e.g. Great Britain, then adjust the slider to view POIs within the range 50 - 300 square miles. Tap Ok and the POIs will be displayed on the map. Other menu bar icons: 3rd along - Maps: Changes the type of Google map i.e. Normal, Satellite, Terrain, Hybrid and Traffic display 4th along - Directions: Use Apple maps (or Google Maps if installed) to give directions from the current location to the map centre. 5th along - Share this location via email with POI admin of Wild Camping website, in order to add it to the database. 6th along - POI Info:: POI details, link to extra info section and credits * For members of the Wild Camping community - please see www.WildCamping.co.uk for more details
